Entry List For The 24 Hours Of Le Mans Released!



The 24 Hours of Le Mans to be held in August this year will feature many familiar faces from our 2021 season.

2021 Asian Le Mans Series Champions, G-Drive Racing will be there with two Aurus 01s and behind the wheel of the #26 will be stand out young talent, and 2021 Rookie of the Year, Franco Colapinto. The #28 JOTA entry that finished 2nd in the 2021 season, will also be on the gird with same driver line up that campaigned the 2021 Series. LMP2 Am Drivers Champions, Dwight Merriman and Kyle Tilley will line up with European Le Mans Series regulars, IDEC Sport.

After the team made their racing debut in the 2021 Asian Le Mans Series, Racing Team India will partner with long standing Asian Le Mans Series team Eurasia Motorsport with a Ligier JSP217. Fellow long time Asian Le Mans Series team, ARC Bratislava will also be on the grid with a Ligier as a result of them making the step up to the FIA World Endurance Championship.

LMP3 Champions, United Autosports will be on the grid with three Oreca 07s. Their driver line up will include 2018/2019 Champions Phil Hanson and Paul Di Resta.

In LMGTE Am, 2021 GT Champions, Herberth Motorsport will be on the grid with a Ferrari 488 GTE EVO, as will 3rd placed team, Rinaldi Racing. 4th placed team, Inception Racing, will make their debut in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Kessel Racing, (who claimed an invitation to the famed race as a result of their vice-championship win in the 2020 European Le Mans Series), will continue their partnership with Japanese team, CarGuy Racing. Both teams will also race a Ferrari.

Having made the step up to the FIA WEC, (in addition to their Asian Le Mans Series campaign), D’Station Racing will be there with an Aston Martin Vantage AMR. The Japanese team will receive support from fellow Asian Le Mans Series entrants, TF Sport who will run a further two Aston Martins.

2019/2020 GT Champions, HubAuto Racing will return to the iconic race, this time however, they will be racing a Porsche 911 RSR – 19.  After travel restrictions curtailed Absolute Racings return to the Asian Le Mans Series with a two-car entry this season, the Chinese team will also be on the grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a Porsche.

2016/2017 Asian Le Mans Series GT Cup title winner, Japanese racer, Takuma Aoki will join the “Innovative car” entry with Frédéric Sausset. The SRT-41 academy team will be the first to feature a full line-up of drivers with disabilities.
